Just wanted to get one final look over from others.

MOTHERBOARD:
I am worried about the motherboard though. I have read some bad things about it getting fried if you unplug the computer and other things in that manner. Now I dont mind spending a little extra on a motherboard to insure that it wouldn't have that problem, or would be better then the current one.

CASE:
Now I really like the nzxt case and I think it looks sleek and will look great with some leds inside. However, I know the case it more on the price side. If you have a suggestion for a great case that looks good and is cheaper then I would love to know about the case!

MONITOR:
Currently I dont have a monitor listed on my part list. I am thinking about buying a better monitor so I can play games. Because with the GPU it wouldn't get justice with this older monitor I have. So if you have a suggestion for a good gaming monitor please let me know! Just not looking to spend a lot on a monitor. I feel like around 24in would be a good size. Or do you think a t.v. would be better?

What do you think about these monitors?

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND LOOKING OVER THIS WITH ME!! YALL ARE AWESOME!! CAN NOT WAIT TO BUILD MY FIRST PC!!

Looks good, a 1080p 24inch monitor would be a start but your rig would be capable of more than that

Alternative motherboard - gigabyte gaming 5 :)
Alternative cooler - raijintek ereboss, roughly same price but a bit better all round

Also, add an SSD you won't regret it

I recently bought, almost, the exact same components and build the PC myself and overall you've made some great choices.

I bought the Z97-A from Asus as my board and I have thoroughly enjoyed that board with that BIOS. However, from what I know the models from ASrock are decent as well - and indeed a bit cheaper.

[strike]My only suggestion would be too buy another PSU. The PSU you have is "fine" but not great, and though it may seem trivial and a waste of money, investing in a good quality PSU can be the deciding factor in longevity and ultimately upgrade ability of the PC.[/strike]**

As for monitors I have two myself. A 24inch 144hz gaming monitor and a 40inch 60hz TV. For you, I will definitely recommend a 24inch monitor with 1920:1080 resolution. If you want to move to 4K, you'll need to spend the cash.

If you are gaming a lot I would recommend better response time than the ones you are suggesting. 5ms is too long in my opinion. Xms<3ms for me, where X is your gaming monitor.

Hope it helps.

edit:

Mr. @LucoTF made a great suggestion. If you have money too spare, buy an SSD - you won't regret it!

** My experience with the mentioned PSU is not great, however I cannot claim that it is a non-advisable PSU.

In that light, I recommend listening to Mr. @LucoTF - regarding PSU.

I can vouch for that monitor. Only problem, for my subjectivity, is the response time. however there is no guarantee you'll be as nit-picky as me, and if it does not annoy you, there is absolutely no reason not too buy the IPS. Great performance compared to the price.
