Need help choosing new motherboard and cpu

Ok so right now i have an fx 4100 and a 78lmt usb3 right now the cpu is not cutting it most games stutter and cant keep up with my gtx 660. I have a budget of £350 so i want some help deciding on what to get.

I would like an intel cpu and motherboard (because i dont like amds way of just adding more core and the heatsinks are also easier to intall)

Nothing on newegg because i live in the uk and im not paying the shipping. So if you have a link make sure its from the uk.

The only major change which could be made is an i7 instead of i5, which won't be a big difference in terms of gaming.

Well, A LOT better.

It's a bit dated, but as you can see, even 2nd generation non-K i5 is considerably better than FX 41xx. 4th gen 4690k will be even better.

Yes, i5 is lower wattage wise than FX 4100. FX 4 is 95W TDP while i5 is 88W, no issues there.
