Any time I watch a video (Youtube, Netflix, Facebook, VLC Player) or listen to music on iTunes my laptop screen completely freezes up and the audio slows down to trippy speeds, requiring me to have to hard shutdown my laptop. Apparently my Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family is up to date. I've tried Intel Rapid Storage Technology RAID driver by downloading the Zip and setup files from the intel website. But when I open the setup it says

"The setup program ended prematurely because of the following error: This platform is not supported"

I'm completely lost, and I apologize if I have not given you enough information, I'm not very computer savvy. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Intel RST Driver I downloaded:

Could be overheating, could bad video card/motherboard, or possibly just software messing up.

Try creating a new user account and see if the issue happens there also.

If it does, I would start with checking the laptop and cleaning out the fans and vents, having someone re-apply the heatsinks with new heat grease is a good idea. If the issue still happens after that, back up your files and setings like Favorites, Desktop, My Documents, etc... and set the laptop to factory defaults. If this happens after that, you very likely have a hardware issue and would need a motherboard replacement.
