i7 4790 vs FX 8350 configuration

help to decide between a i7 4790 (not k) vs FX 8350 i made a build for each one for a 3d budget.

HHD 1TB WD
RAM HYPER X 16GB (8X2 DDR3)

GPU GTX 960 STRIX 2GB DDR5

SSD KINGSTON 240GB V3
HHD 1TB WD
RAM HYPER X 16GB (8X2 DDR3)
PSU CORSAIR 600X 80 BRONZE

for Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, ADOBE SUITE, CINEMA 4D, MAXWELL, KEYSHOT and GPU RENDERS like Octane. Yeah is a pc of 750 more o less budget, for take a count here in México a gtx 960 is 273,88 dolars and a R9 290 is 374,08 dolars and the i7 4790 is 303,94 dolars and the FX 8350 is 180,36, soo yeah is very strange here.

Go with the i7 Build for now. You can get an SSD down the road easily. You will need to spend a bunch more to upgrade Motherboard and CPU.

The intel build is a better starting point since the 4790 is a much stronger cpu. You can always add an SSD later or get a cheaper cooler and squeeze in a 64GB or 120GB SSD.

personally i think a Xeon 1231v3 will suit you better than a 4790 since its cheaper and perform the same, overall you'd save about 100-125$ or so and we that extra $ you can get a SSD, i also recommend switching the Psu, they are better solutions for cheaper and same Price as the CX series.

Thats right here in Mexico find a Xeon 1231v3 will not be easy, for example the Xeon 1241 V3 is 566,95 dolars, by other side the psu is a corsair CX 600 W 80 bronze.

Another configuration that i was thinking was to get a i5 4690k and overclock it but all the benchmarks that i see put the i7 4790 as a winner for the 8 threads, and for rendering i need more core´s that´s why i was thinking in te FX.

Still think that i7 will do better rendering?
