PC restarts when gaming. What components needs to be upgraded?

Before I present all of my problems (more than just what the title presents), I will tell you my current build, with large, zoomable pics.

-Small, standard HP tower that I bought from Best Buy 5 years ago
-Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB motherboard (the pics will show this too)
-20 GB RAM
-AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 Processor 2.8 GHz
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
-600 Watt PSU
-Two 1TB HDDs (one main, one for keeping extra files)
-There is one fan on the processor and one fan on the case
-Dual Monitors

*My problems*
-Painting in Photoshop with my second monitor using VLC media player has caused my PC to hard reset.
-Whenever I open an image in Image Viewer it takes a few seconds to load the image, even if it
is as small 150kb.
-Playing games, especially at highest settings (examples include Far Cry 3, Skyrim, even the BETA to Heroes of the Storm by Blizzard) causes my PC to just hard reset. NOTE: Adding a stronger fan to the case made the games last longer before resetting, so that could be chalked up to overheating. I use to have no problem running games at high settings with these same components installed, though.

The only things that has not been upgraded in my PC is my 5 year old processor, my small case with very few fans, and my 5 year old 1TB HDD.

I have been thinking of upgrading all 3 of these using the following items from newegg

Forgive me for writing so much, I just want to finally get down to the details of why these things are happening to my PC. What are your thoughts on what I should upgrade to fix my current issues? Or should I just buy a new PC altogether?

Solution
Your PC is tottaly turning off or just your monitor? Because if its tottaly turning off, it can be the PSU or CPU.

CPUs are hard to break, so can be the PSU. If you bought the PC 5 years ago it's the PSU, so you have to buy another one. I can help with that too.

But, if your monitor is turning off, you have a problem with the GPU.

Here you have a nice PSU

And you can also check the temps. for GPU/CPU and tell me, that can be a problem too.

Oh, my PSU has already been replaced about 2 years ago. My entire PC restarts, not just the monitor. Is it possible that my PSU needs to be more than 600 like the 650W one you posted (my build is 600 currently) or that I would just need a brand new one? Also, everything in my PC has been upgraded over the 5 years I've owned it, except the HDD, CPU, and the actual case.

It doesn't matter how big is the PSU, it matter the real power. You can have a 1000W psu and the real power can be the 300W. And if your PC is restarting, not turning off, check the temps and tell me and go to bios and check if you have the option that when your PC is overheating to restart/turn off to make you an attention.

I went into BIOS and the temp warning was not turned on, so I told it to warn me when my temp get more than 80C/176F. Also, the two images below are my temps from playing Skyrim at ultra settings and the second one is using Photoshop while watching a movie on my second monitor and having Chrome open with mulitiple tabs.

I don't know what to say... The temps are good for CPU, try to monitoring the GPU. If the temps are good too, you better go with your PC into a service...
