Will i be bottlenecked anywhere, is the RAM speed ok. Everything else is so much more $$$

MSI Z97 GAMING 5 MOBO
Intel Core i7-4790 Quad-Core CPU
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2400MHz CL11 RAM

Wil have to buy a CPU co0oler, but that is simple...

Very good system, make sure to use a liquid cooling along with that CPU, will keep the temperature levels low and extend the life of the CPU, as well as give room for overclocking.

Unless the OP typed it wrong that is not the K cpu so there is no overclocking and thus not needing anything more then an air cooler.

Is that the 4790 or the 4790k? If it's not the k version, you won't be able to overclock it and it's slower than the k version. Max turbo of the 4790 is 4ghz, that's where the 4790k starts at base speed is 4ghz. It won't require a liquid cooler, especially if it's not the k version. The stock cooler will likely work fine at stock speeds unless it's a k version and even then any decent aftermarket air cooler will work. Liquid is an option, just not the only option.
