I'm familiar with Kingston's series of memory modules and I really can't get the full comparison of both; as in which one is better. I have two options of RAM I want to get, but I don't know which one to get. But if you guys suggest any other kits that are 2 x 4 ( two 4 sticks of ram equivalent to 8 gb total), DDR3 1600, and in the price range of these kits.

Kingston HyperX Beast_DDR3_1600 http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9B-20-104-362&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleBiz-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleBiz-PC-_-pla-_-Desktop+Memory-_-9B-20-104-362&gclid=Cj0KEQiA1NWnBRDchObfnYrbo78BEiQA-2jqBcc8RY3YFioCpyDZd7YTgwCOSrsPWuQlYqbHRlaQn3MaAv4F8P8HAQ

Well the beast has C9 which are faster (and therefor better timings) but uses more energy 1.65V.
The fury is C10 which is the slower (and therefor worse timings) but uses less energy 1.5V.
The biggest difference though is that the Beast has a very large heat spreader which can get in the way of large air cooling solutions like the Noctura NH-D14/15.
Either is good IMHO.

A few things to think about - if you have an older mobo the Furys might not work - they operate off PnP instead of XMP so will need at least a 1155 socket mobo - also they are CL 10 which is is considered a little slow 1600/9 is basically entry level at the low end, on the Hyper Beast they are 1600/9 but they call for 1.65 which can be indicative of using weak memory chips as better than 90+ % of all 1600 DRAM these days easily operates at 1.5 or lower.....also for the price of the 1600/9 Beast if you pay $2 more you can get a set of 2x4GB 2400/10 Tridents if your rig could take 2400

My CPU is in fact a K series, but my motherboard says it can only go up to a max of 1600Mhz of speed on RAM. Can I go higher since my CPU is a K series or something?
