What is the difference between Intel and amd processors ....
I have heard of AMD but not sure if it is better than Intel ??????

Both make good CPUs. My rule of thumb is that you will get similar performance for the same amount of money. Intel CPUs use less power and generate less heat.
If you are looking at laptops and care about battery life or if you are looking at desktops and want the best performance, buy Intel. If you are looking for budget compromises, AMD may make sense.
