My PC currently has a blue theme, so i'm hoping to stick to that and look for a good gaming mouse that features blue leds. I'm contemplating getting the DeathAdder Chroma but I just want to know if there are cheaper alternatives that perform well enough to compare to a Razer.

The Logitech G series have blue LEDs, at least the 302, 402, and 502. I have the 502- it's pretty speedy and accurate. You can make the LEDs pulse or breathe if you like that sort of thing. It's not as cheap as the Chroma right now but there have been occasional deals on it; mine came from Best Buy with a $50 Steam gift card. The others are a little cheaper- $50-60.
