ati hd6870 vs nvidia gtx 660

Plz tell me guyz which one should i go for........ my freind is selling these cards..........ati 6870 1gb @108$
And nvidia gtx660 2gb @158$
Plz tell me which one shoul i go for or which one will be good for gaming .......my monitors res is 1280 x 1024..........thankx in advance...........

gtx660 is far better. HD 6870 is around gtx560ti performance.

Anyway, for 160$ you can get a R9 270X that's faster than both of those.

But in india sir here r70x costs around 230$ that is more then my budget...........

N tell me plz is ati 6870 enough to play all latest games including bf.hd and crisis 3 in ultra in very much playble fps on my monitors resolution

No, man its not. 6870 will be struggling even at 720p in quite a few games. Also, gtx660 will be better for future games, it have more vram. Dont cheap out, get a 660 if you can.
