I am getting a Corsair 450d case it has 7 places to put fans be realistically only 6 anyway I am also going to be getting 2x140mm corsair airseries fans and one 120mm airseries fan. What I want to do is basically take the stock 2x140mms that are in the front and put them on the top and then take the stock 120mm and put it on the bottom to suck air in.
I was wondering if that would be too noisy, and if my motherboard asus z97 hero could handle it as far as fan headers. I was concerned about lighting in the case thats why I bought the aftermarket fans and for better performance but I thought why not mount the extra fans on as well. what do you guys think?
Also I might be overclocking in the future so I have a stock cpu cooler for now and I was looking at the h100i or maybe a phanteck air cooler but I was trying to keep the initial PC cost down until I actually am going to oc. So with my new fans I figured airflow would be good and temp would be as well, but if I put the old stock ones in as well it would help make up for having a stock i7 cpu cooler.
What do you guys think? Any feedback is appreciated.
