Corrupt mac HDD

Solution
The drive will work in the PC, but OS X uses a different filesystem that Windows can't read. You'll need to add a driver or program which can read HFS+ partitions.

Writing to HFS+ partitions is a bit trickier. All the realistic options I've seen have been pay software. The one free one had a reputation for corrupting your Mac drive.

Edit: If you're trying to repair a corrupt Mac HDD on a PC, I would highly not recommend that. You can use the PC to retrieve non-corrupt files. But any attempts at repair should be done on a computer which understands the filesystem - i.e. a Mac.
