Hi all,
Does anyone know of anywhere (preferably based in the UK) that does custom metal backplates?
One of my MSI TF V GTX 970s sags quite a bit and I'd quite like to fix it instead of exchanging it for a different model, plus it will cover the not so nice looking PCB on the back of my cards.
I know there are plenty of acrylic/plexi options out there, but because of their lower rigidity they have a much higher profile which I don't want, plus I worry about the heat dissipation issues acrylic/plexi would bring. The VRAM modules do warm up on my cards, and I don't want to inhibit their cooling.
If anyone knows where I can buy variants of the backplates used for the special editions (100 million and Gold) that would be even better!
