I have the following:
Intel core 2 quad e6600
Some Motherboard I forgot XD
8GB OF DDR2 RAM! (Dont judge im upgrading)
500 gb WDCB
GTS 250 GPU
500 watt Power Supply

It Did that thing to the only 3 games I tried to play today. Metro: Last Light , Minecraft, CS:GO.

Those games take more resources then you have available and therefore the PC is freezing. You will need to upgrade to play them
