Dell Inspiron Zino HD no longer reads dvd

Worked fine for years but no longer reads data or video dvds. I either get 'insert a disc' or a slow moving green status bar at top screen with no response when it reaches full right. No clue if I lost a driver or the drive is bad.

You can delete the drive from device manager. it should ask if you want to delete associated files - say yes, reboot and it will refind the drie and re-install the drivers. If it doesnt work after that then you probebly need a new drive. It uses the laptop style drives and its pretty easy to replace.
