I have my cable modem/router in one device, network 192.168.0.0/24, my router being 192.168.0.1, and DHCP assigning addresses to clients. Than, I have another router(wifi router) connected to an ethernet port of the first router that basically acts as a switch. I just turned off DHCP on that second router and gave it an IP from the network range - 192.168.0.200.

And wifi is working just fine......Until one notebook connects to it. After that, the network stops working in a few minutes. All devices have limited connectivity and then if you disconnect or try to connect a new device, it cannot authenticate with the wifi router, so nobody can connect to the wifi, until I restart the wifi router. This happens with that particular notebook only, every time. The network works just fine with all other notebooks, smartphones, ipads etc...

This seems like physical layer problem to me, but I gave same network info just in case.

Solution
It could be a faulty adapter, or a windows config thing.

Try booting the system with a bootable Linux disc (like Linux Mint or Ubuntu) and see if the same thing happens.

If so, it's a faulty adapter. If not, it's something in windows.
