Dear amazing people at tomshardware,
I want the best possible PC ranging from $1000 to $1100 excluding the screen, mouse and keyboard. I want it for video game development (you know, for stuff like UE4 and 3ds max) without having a problem. And for the best gaming experience at least for the next 3 or 4 years.

Your effort is highly appreciated, Thank you.

Update 1: after looking more and more into this, I'm thinking of the GTX 970 for now and then add another one in the future. I also think 16 GB of RAM is what is just needed. Plus, I want to know your thoughts on whether I should go for one GTX 980 if I save some more money or just one GTX 970 and then add another one in the future. Some people are saying that two 970 are better than just one 980. Keep in mind that I'm not computer literate so please make your answers more understandable.
Thank you very much for your time.

I do recommend the i7 4790k since you will be doing game development but its $100 more, but its worth it.

I made a few changes to squeeze in the 4790K:

Since games need space, I changed the SSD to a 1TB HDD. You'll miss the boot-up speeds, but being restricted to only a few games and projects installed at a time is even more frustrating.

I also change the PSU. The XFX unit is actually also made by Seasonic, but the rate it 80+ Bronze only and sell it for $20 less. Quite a good deal overall.

The memory was also changed. I doubt we could quantify the benefit of 1866MHz over 1600MHz in most games, while the $12 saved do come in handy.

Finally, I just changed the 970 to a slightly cheaper one, since it should still perform basically the same. And then, of course, I added the 4790K.
