Hi... i am working on a project that requires simulation of ethernet cable to be connected/disconnected. I initially planned to use 8 relays for each wire, which ends up to be costly solution. Now I am planning to connect all the 8 wires to a single relay and am worried about the side effects...kindly pls help..if all the wires are connected together/shorted, what will happen?
What will happen if I connect all the 4 pairs (8 wires) inside the Ethernet cable together?
