MSI 970 motherboard problems

So i just got an MSI 970 Motherboard because my old Asus M5A97 died due to a surge. This new motherboard is giving me cpu temps around 10 degrees C and speedfan is not recognizing any of the fans. is there any way i can correct this?

That board may not have sensor utilized by speedfan, or speedfan may need to be uninstalled and reinstalled for it to automatically detect and configure the new hardware.

I'd recommend not using speedfan at all unless the motherboard doesn't have any fan control options in the bios. Are your fans connected via the motherboard headers, an aftermarket or built in case controller or are you using 4 pin molex connections directly to the PSU?
