I've endured smart hard disk errors for more than a year. I can't find the error logs to give me more info. The drive passes all normal tests and checks. I would like to disable its nagging. Is there a way to purge its "memory"?

I have the original recovery discs, but want to avoid re-installing legacy software that'son board.

Is there a drive cloning application that could help me replace the "flagged" drive?

Can I disable this service in BIOS?
