Hi guys, Got a question about a graphics card i just purchased...

Hello guys, i just think i made a bad move.... I haven't been up to date with computers as of late. And I've just purchased a MSI 7750HD 2GB from amazon.com and it's a PCI-Express 3.0 Card... and i have a PCI Express x16 card.... Doh!!! looks like my celebration part on getting a brand new graphics card may just be put on hold..... dang it was just in my price range too... Anyways sorry i have not been posting as of late on the boards, just been sooo busy with life. Hope you all are well! Thanks in advance

PCIe 3.0 cards are backwards compatible with previous generation PCIe slots...

If you're still using the Asus M4A79XTD EVO that's in your profile then you'll have no problems.

http://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/M4A79XTD_EVO/specifications/ says "2 x PCIe 2.0 x16" - so you'll be fine. You can even put 2 cards in using Crossfire.
