Hello guys!
I have a GA-P55-USB3 motherboard. It says it supports up to 16gb ram and it has 4 slots for ram ddr3. I already have 2x2gb ram on slot 1 and slot 3. What can I do to upgrade? I read somewhere that I can't put more than 8gb on one slot. Can I install 2x4gb in slot 2 and 4 so I can have 12gb total? Also it says here (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3440#sp) that it supports DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800 MHz ram. That means 1600mhz ram is off the table? Because I actually found corsair ram sticks at 1600 and 1333mhz at the same price. Any help will be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

EDIT: The kit I already have is this:

It's apparently already 1600mhz but I haven't had any problems!

Mixing and matching RAM can sometimes cause a headache, but all long as you can find a pair of 4gb sticks that have the same voltage, frequency and CAS latency as your current sticks it should be just fine. Ideally you could buy 2*2gb sticks of the Corsair Dominator RAM you already have and add them in for 8gb total, I guess it depends how much total RAM you are looking for.

Luckily the NewEgg link you posted has the info you need for a matching set of RAM, just look for a set which has the following:
Timing 7-7-7-20
Cas Latency 7
Voltage 1.65V

EDIT: Also 1600Mhz RAM will work with your motherboard, it will just be underclocked to 1333mhz.
