i heard intel k series processors are overclockable
but do i really need a motherboard with overclocking facility to overclock my processor.

Many H81, B85 and H97 boards are capable of overclocking, but they aren't designed for it. With something like an i5-4690k you'd be lucky to get more than a small overclock on a non-z board

Z87 and Z97 boards are built from the factory with overclocking in mind and are therefore much better suited to the task.

lets say i have got a z87 or z97 mobo, a nice i7 4790k processor
then which ram and powersupply unit as well as which type of cooler and which model of that cooler
will u recommend? as its all about overclocking so system stability and heat control are also main things
