Rather than the A series, you're better off with an Athlon II 860K. It's basically the A10 7850 without the integrated GPU. If you want to game a bit you'll need a separate graphics card anyway.
But for programming, more cores are generally better. In that aspect, the FX-6300 (or the FX-8320) is better.
RAM doesn't really matter for gaming. As long as it's a typical 1600 CL9 or 1866 CL10 you'll be fine. Kingston HyperX Fury is cheap but great RAM just as an example.
