I'm getting a new phone soon but I'm having trouble deciding which one to get. I'm most likely either getting the htc one m8 or the galaxy note 4. Which one do you think I should get and why? Any help is appreciated.

Solution
If you want a big phone, get the Note 4. If you want something smaller, wait for the M9. There's no reason to get the M8 now. Wait a few months, it'll be worth it.
That said, I have the Note 4 and it's a great phone. Touchwiz is still horrible, but after changing the launcher, it's a good overall experience. Lollipop should be coming to American carriers soon and less bloatware is rumored to be included.
Both are great choices, but they're two very different phones. Weigh the pros and cons of both phones and decide yourself which would be better for you. The main factor is size, but there are other notable differences such as the M9's superior build quality and the Note's stylus that you should take in account.

I think I would get the M8 instead of the M9, just because the 9 is a little too expensive and it doesn't look like htc changed much. I've used apple my whole life so I don't know, how do you change a launcher?

My only concern is that it's too big. Does it fit in a hand comfortably? Does it fit in a pocket? Can you use it with one hand?

Is it simple to change the launcher? Does it improve the experience? How do you do it?

Changing the launcher is as simple as downloading one through the Play (app) store and changing it in settings. The M9 received a major boost in camera optics and specs, so i'd say that justifies the price, especially if you want to take pictures. Also, Note 4 fits in a pocket fine.
