I had to factory reset my computer due to a virus and now the number pad to the right of the keyboard will not work ? I cant figure it out? I have windows 8

If you hit the Num Lock key, usually the upper left key on the number key pad, does it work? If so, you can set num lock to always be turned on at startup in the bios.
