Hey all. So I have a 1 year old GA-970A-UD3. It has been working well until recently. And it seems to give me sound artifacts more and more. Before I thought it was because I ramped up the control panel sound quality up too high (without knowing). So I thought this would be a easy fix. Other than sound problems. The computer has been running fine and has barely ever crashed.

I decided to go buy a USB DAC which would not provide any issues. Thinking this would bypass all the computer trouble I had. Think again. The artifacts are still present on this DAC! I tested my speakers via my iphone and they work fine. The motherboard seems to be the source of this issue.

I was wondering whether there is anything I can do to solve this issue without having to buy a motherboard.

Thanks!

Dunno about the root cause, but if the motherboard's faulty it should have a 3 year warranty on it, so you shouldn't need to buy a new one... ;)

As I know if there is a warranty I would have to send it back to the company? That could take a few weeks, I wouldn't have a suitable computer. Are there other ways to deal with this problem?
