I have windows 7 in my Toshiba laptop. It didn't come with recovery disc so I made my own. Since then we moved and I can't find any of my disc. Is there any site I can go to that will let me make new recovery disc for Windows 7. I have the key for it as it is on a label on the bottom of my laptop, I'm just needing the recovery disc. Thank you, Tammy

If you had asked this back in early January 2015, the answer was yes -- Digital River.

Unfortunately, Microsoft shut that distribution off in favor of a new form (similar to Windows 8) that requires a retail key to download.

Take a look at Amazon.com for inexpensive Toshiba recovery disks and installer disks.

Digital river didn't have recovery disks, it had windows 7 disks. Which you can still find on the internet, if you know what your doing. Another option, if the disk alone is good enough, is to try a local shop or find a friend who has one. They are around. Its not like they are rare.

Remember, the windows 7 disk alone doesn't include all the software that came with the system. In my opinion, thats a good thing. You might feel differently.
