Random windows 7 hang ups

I had built my computer is the end of December and had many BSOD problems. I fixed them, and flew fine for awhile until recently. My computer started getting stuck randomly. My programs will stop responding, but audio and mouse will continue to works for a few seconds before everything locks up. That'll last about 10-15 seconds before everything comes back. If I type anything or control-alt-delete, it'll all happen at once when it comes back. I lose internet connection when it's locks up too. I ran memtest and a bunch of stress tests when I had frequent blue screens, so I don't think I need to retry those. I don't know where to look. It's 64 bit and I'll add my specs if needed. Thank you.

try hdtune and a drive test frm seagate or wd depending on your hard drive. could be a drive controller failing and hanging the sata bus. also use a 3 party tools check your power supply output.

My OS is on a Crucial m500 SSD. I have a few other hard drives with my games and extra programs on them. I tried playing two different games when I got home and they both crashed. I can provide the fault code from the event viewer if that means anything. Also chrome stopped responding when I clicked play on a video.

start with a boot disk with memtest86 on it make sure your system ram is fine. then run a gpu ram test there are a few online. if both pass and your rig is locking up try running with onboard video card see if the system is fine.
