Hey llebaldz5332. Unfortunately this means that the hard drive has failed the Disk Self Test (DST). I'd recommend that you backup any important data which might be on the hard drive and then run the drive manufacturer's diagnostic tool (if the manufacturer doesn't offer one, then try a 3rd party HDD diagnostic tool) to test the drive and see what's really going on.
You could also try it with a different computer to see if the same thing happens (it might be due to a faulty SATA connection as well).
I'd also recommend that you contact HP's customer support if the laptop is still under warranty and ask if the drive can be replaced.
