I recently purchased a r9 290x for my computer. when I installed it, I turned it on only to find an error that said "Reboot and select proper Boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key". I've looked through other threads and have tried a few thing, but none of them have worked. I have changed the boot priority in the BIOS, and I've tried to remove the graphics card, and boot into safe mode, but if I remove the card and plug the monitor into the motherboard slot, i still get the same error. I heard that I might need to reinstall windows, But i have lost the disk since I built my PC. I do have the product key. I am completely at a loss. What can I do?
