Coollaboratory Liquid PRO worth it?

Going to be getting my first custom loop here soon and am wondering if I should get some Coollaboratory Liquid PRO, or if I should just use some Gelid Extreme...?

Anyone have much experience with these TIMs and have an opinion on the matter?

I feel pretty confident with my ability to use it. Will be doing a test run on another surface before applying it to the CPU to get some experience spreading it, if I end up getting it that is.
I am currently using AS5 on my aircooled setup at the moment..

Having done well over 100 mounts, I don't have as confidence as you:). It's an effort I apprpoach w/ much trepidation, especially on someone else's build.

I don't see the value on a external mount. CLP is most used on delidded mounts for example with the Naked Ivy mount from EK.
