First off, I'm a long time lurker, first time posting and I kind of find some answers to this while searching but wanted to hear some new ideas. Also this is kind of a place holder until I can test a few things on Saturday

PC specs:

ASRock X99 Extreme3 LG2011-v3
i7 5930k
16 Gb Crucial Ballistix Sport
PowerColor 7950
two crucial ssds
VisionTek500W PSU

So about a week ago I was playing H1Z1 on highest settings and my pc crashed. Restarted and it did it again only quicker, so it was suggested that I turn down the video settings, which I did. I haven't had a crash while playing that game sense.

Played CSGO on highest settings just fine, then about a week in pc crashed before a map will load but can stay in the main menu/settings just fine, so I turned the settings down on that and played fine, same thing with TF2.

While on Netflix and playing Hearthstone my pc crashed, and this is after all of the other crashes, so it appears that something is failing as it is becoming more frequent.

I thought maybe this could be overheating but if I start my PC after coming home from work and start up CS on highest settings, it'll crash about half way through loading a map, but I can get in a game on low settings. I have a 6950 that I will throw in this weekend, as well as another PSU that I can try so see if it's that.

So I was just wondering if anyone else had any idea on why this is happening, and yes that PSU is pretty crappy and the only part that isn't new (aside from the GPU, which hasn't been used) as to why this is happening.

Also when it crashes my screens look like a NES game that needs to be blown into as they usually get pixelated, or there will be random solid color lines down the screen. Sometimes the PC will restart after the crash and sometimes it doesn't
