So my issue started after I accidentally bumped the WiFi switch on my laptop. After I switched it back on though, my laptop still appeared to have no wireless capabilities. I had a connection doctor program downloaded that confirmed that the switch was on, so the physical switch appears to be fine. I can still connect to my router via ethernet cable, but my laptop doesn't recognize any wireless networks. What do you guys think?

Solution
It sounds like your wifi is broken. likely something internal when you bumped the switch too hard. Perhaps the antenna connection, so you can't receive signals but the computer thinks it's fine/
