Lets say that I replaced the current motherboard on my PC, but keep the HDD intact. I will then need to install a new copy of windows, since windows is tied to that specific computer and Motherboard. If I install a new copy of windows with the new motherboard, will everything be alright? Will the files still be there? Will there be any errors? Will my computer be unstable? Maybe you should uninstall windows first and then replace the Mobo?
