Hi,
I bought a new PC yesterday and assembled it at home. But then i detected this problem: When press the power button, the light and fan turn on, but it will take ~10 seconds before the logo ASRock shows up and then Windows loading screen. I called to the store and they said it is normal, somethings to do with the circle. But all my friends said it is not normal at all. Please look at the configurations below and give me some advises.

  • Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
    ASRock X99 Extreme4 ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard
    G.Skill Ripjaws 4 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz 1.2V Red - F4-2400C15Q-32GRR
    EVGA GeForce GTX 980 ACX 2.0, 4GB
EVGA 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply G2
Western Digital WD Black WD2003FZEX 2TB
    Crucial MX100 128GB 2.5" SATA III SSD HBC- MX100D1-128

Thank you.

There are various options in the BIOS that you can enable or disable to make the system POST and boot faster.
The wording and settings of these options vary depending on manufacurer. Some say stuff like quickboot or quick post. Essentially instead of testing your system each time it turns on it just makes the assumption that everything will work fine.
The most time consuming item is when the system runs a quick memory test before booting. (In some old systems you used to not be able to disable that.)

are you sure? I think everytime we press the power button, right after the screen must show the brand name/logo together with the keys to access various functions like boot,bios...before the logo of windows loading. Mine is 10s completely black
