Is my mobo compatible with my GPU?

I am getting a new PC, i ordered this mobo ASRock H81M-HDS Micro ATX LGA1150 and the r9280WF gpu. Considering the lack of PCI-e 3.0 on my mobo, how will this affect my gpus performance?

It won't impact performance unless the data throughput over the lane exceeds 500MB/s. You likely won't be hitting the 2.0 transfer cap most, or any of the time so it shouldn't affect you much, unless of course you decide to crossfire, where you'll not be getting full performance.

Short answer: Compatible: Yes. Performance loss: No.
