So I'll be doing both of these, but I'm hoping someone can advise me on which one will be the better choice to do first.

Upgrade to my MOBO/CPU:
Currently using an Athlon II x 255, not sure the model of MOBO
Would upgrade to i5-4690k/z97, or i5-4690/h97

VS

Upgrade my GPU
Currently using Radeon HD 6770 (1GB)
Would upgrade to a GTX970 (4GB)

I mainly use my computer for gaming (mostly WoW) and streaming video (Netflix, etc).

Other computer specs that may be relevant:

PSU: 500W
Ram: 8GB

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Links to my computer and the upgrades I've made to it, in case I didn't properly describe anything:

There's always there's something new on the horizon, right now we're expecting to see some new parts from AMD in the near future so I suggest you hold off on a graphics upgrade, at least until the announcements are made and the reviews are in.

If you don't want to overclock then the i5 4460 pairs nicely with an H97 mobo: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,review-32901-4.html the performance difference between a stock 4460 and 4690 isn't that great and you could divert the money saved into a better power supply or set it aside for the graphics upgrade.
If you DO want to overclock the i5 4690K/Z97 is probably THE configuration to choose-I'm running that setup and am keeping it at stock for now, there's just no reason to overclock ATM because it just eats up everything I throw at it, laughs and asks for more. ;)

Please post the power supply details: Make, model and output on the 5v, 3,3v and 12v lines, please. I'm pretty sure it will be a good idea to replace it with something better, I can't see any spare PCI-E leads in the Newegg photos and the GTX970 needs dual 6 pin leads to operate.
