I am planning to upgrade my graphics card im looking for something that will run most games nowadays for under $150 or $200 max my laptops current graphics card is pretty old i cant even run a simple game like Minecraft on it. My laptop model is a:

Toshiba Satellite L650-0DE
Model # PSK1EC-0DE00Q
Running Windows 7- home premium
I'm hoping for an Nvidia graphics card but really anything will do. what stuff will i need to do with the laptop to make the card compatible and i would rather have it be an exxternal graphics card rather than internal because i hear its better and easier than using an internal replacement card im not sure how to install an internal card either lol! if someone could plz help me out it would be greatly appreciated thnx! i would rather have it emailed to me if that is possible at: * Moderator Edit - personal info *

if there is anything that i am missing in this plz feel free to input only people that know what they are doing though plz and thnx!

You found a very common issue with buying a laptop, you can't really upgrade them. Many people just buy the cheapest thing they can find thinking it's a computer, that other laptop for tripple the price is a computer, both run Windows, must be the same just cheaper.

You have a lower end syst em with a slow CPU, to get any type of external video card you'd need the card, the interface and a power supply to hook the card to. Which would not help much due to the slow CPU, be very messy and pricy.

Best thing to do if you want to play games on a laptop is sell yours and buy a gaming class laptop which would be about $600 for a minimum spec system and about $1,000-1,200 for something that can run games on Medium to high settings, depending on the game.
