I have recently discovered a high pitched, what seems to be, static-y noise coming from my PSU. I decided it was static-like when I fiddled around with it and my PC instantly restarted saying it had protected me from a power surge.
1) Is my computer safe to run with this?
2) What can I do? Do I need to take it to an expert / Get a new one?
