which one is better for gaming, i have a guy selling a used i5 4670 for 200$ without a cpu fan on kijiji, this retails brand new for 260$ plus tax in Canada., but i can also buy amd-fx6350 brand new for 156 plus tax. im in Canada btw, which one is for better gaming and overall just faster for word processing and stuff like that. I want to play BF4 so yeah. and my gpu is gigabyte r9 270x windforce.

SO OVERALL WHICH CPU IS BETTER FOR GAMING FOR MY MONEY/VALUE?

I5 4670 VS FX6350

Solution
In 'most' games an i5 4670k (* Thats' the unlocked and overclockable version) will run neck in neck with an FX 8320 or 8350 for gaming. This is true for both stock speeds and overclocked speeds. So it's a bit better than even an overclocked FX 6350.

But there's no way in hell I would pay $200 for a used 4670 when I can get a NEW 4690 with an extra discount from NewEgg, AND an included heatsink, right now, for $214-$224 US.

Look...

And you're in Canada? PC Part Picker shows them running in the $220-$250 range. Still better than used for $200. Maybe counter offer $120-$150 CDN.

He said he's in Canada.

Even the i5 4430 easily outperforms the FX8350 in MOST games. The FX6350 would not even come close to an i5 4690 in any game.

Remeber, more cores does not mean better. Cores help spread the workload across your CPU to make it run faster. However, some cores are faster then others. In your case, an I5 core is much faster then one of AMD's cores. However, AMD makes up for this by including 6-8 cores in their CPU's to make them geared to more multi-threaded workloads.
