Is my CPU holding me back?

I'm trying to stream LoL and CS GO but I drop a lot of frames. I have an upload speed of 5 and a download of 50 so it's not that. I use an Elgato Game Capture HD at 1080p 30fps. I stream with the game open, obs, skype/ teamspeak and firefox (chat and music). I have an FX-6300 and I want to stream more. Should I upgrade my CPU? I would sell my 6300 and get the 8350 and then OC it.

I don't know much about streaming, and I know that my CPU is pretty weak compared to what other streamers use.

Solution
1) I have seen that your upload speed is 5mb/s and if you do a speedtest online by Speedtest.net or your broadband provider- It will give you your reading in BITS , 8 BITS is 1 BYTE. Some quick math. Your upload speed is 0.625 mb/s and your download speed it 6.25mb/s . These speed for streaming is good, no worries with your internet.

2)Keep in mind STREAMING is much more heavier than RECORDING gameplay.

3) Skype / Teamspeak / Firefox are running in the background , so they will drop you some frames,i would close all the ones that you really don't need.

4) Now i dont stream with a capture card , so i dont know but. Try streaming without it and just use purely your computer and OBS.

5) Youtube on how to setup up your OBS to stream...

EDIT:
6) Dont bother streaming at 1080p not alot of people have that good internet to handle it without buffer, drop dont to 720p and you wills ee much less lag.

Anymore question , feel free to ask !

Solution

I've tried to stream without my capture card and it's much much much worse. It's not even playable. Also I wanted to stream at 1080p because I wanted to upload stream highlights to youtube and I wanted it in the highest quality possible. I didn't watch a tutorial and I just followed the instructions on the OBS website. It's all setup correctly (at least according to their website). I just did a little test stream (5 min of CS GO) and I dropped almost no frames. Thanks for your help
