So I recently just go an ssd and installed windows on it. But while trying to go into the BIOS to enable AHCI mode it would not load into and would instead stay stuck on the motherboard splash screen. I don't know much on this subject so any help would be awesome.

Solution
Plug the keyboard into one of the two USB ports located directly above the PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse Port. That motherboard only supports the keyboard on certain USB ports during POST. There's a reason why GIGABYTE grouped two USB 2.0 ports with the PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse Port. Take a hint and use them.

There's really no point in connecting a keyboard in a USB 3.0 port since a keyboard is a very low bandwidth device.

Under storage controllers it says Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller. I waited at the splash screen for at least 15-20min to see if anything would happen but no.

You need to make sure that AHCI is enabled before installing Windows. If you enable it after Windows has been installed you will need to perform a registry hack in Windows Safe Mode to get it to work properly.

What is the brand and model of the motherboard?

Did you keep tapping on the <Delete> key during POST (Power On Self Test) up until the motherboard logo splash screen appears?

The default setting for the SATA Mode Selection is IDE. You will need to change that setting to AHCI.
