I have bought an ASUS X99-A motherboard, as well as an SSD Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SATA3 and a WD Caviar Black 1ΤB 3.5" SATA3. Also, I have bought 2 SATA3 cables.

However, my motherboard has many SATA ports (from specs: Disk Compatibility: 1 x SATA Express port, , compatible with 2 x SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports, 8 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s))

The problem is that, I don't fully undestand the diffrences, and I don't know where I should plug every disk. I also have bought an optical disk drive (Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE SATA Black) which also connects to SATA ports.

Can you help me, and suggest where I should put every disk and the optical drive?

Sorry for my English! :(

Already done so. The screenshot I posted was from this page. I have not understood in which section should I install them. In A, B, or D. This page didint help me.

You can install a sata device in any of the sata ports. You might want want to leave the sata express ports open in case you want to upgrade with a M.2 or sata express device later on. Install windows with only the drive you want as the boot drive plus the optical drive installed. If other HDD's installed, windows will install boot files on those drives too. Install other HDD's after windows is installed.
