Laptop wont start with 2 rams after BIOS update

Hi there! I have a problem with my laptop. I reseted my BIOS, then in a sudden my laptop just don't want to start up. I turn it on, fan goes for a sec or two, then it's all off. If i just use one of my RAMs, it's OK, the other seems to be dead, but it works with another laptop. What could be the problem and the solution? Thanks, Virgil

Maybe reset the bios to the optimal default values again with just one module.After that look with cpu-z-> spd tab what the settings should be (windows) and apply if not at those (back in the bios again),then try again with the other module.

If both modules work fine individually in your laptop is one of the channels not working right.Maybe that a bios update could help,otherwise,if still under warranty,try an rma of the laptop.Make sure to have a decent back up when going the rma route.

One module works fine in both slots, and the other's a no-go, but with another laptop, it works fine. :/ But if there's no solution, i'll do the rma.

If one of the modules is just not working could you buy one or even go for rma because of that reason.Maybe "they" know how to fix that.

Other laptop has the same amount of ram? Tried to switch all?
