Which latest graphics cards are confirmed working with Dell XPS 8300 mobo?

I am selling my Ps4 to buy a new graphics card and a power supply for my dell ups 8300. Could you tell me which graphics cards are confirmed working for the xps 8300 ? I mostly want the Gtx 970 but I heard that the mobo has locked Bios. Some people say that the Evga version of the 970 is compatible with Dell XPS 8300. Has anyone successfully installed a 970 on a XPS 8300 with an 0Y2MRG motherboard?

There is one x16 slot. PCIe 3.0 slots and devices are backwards compatible. But researching some I found that several could not get the GTX 700 series cards to work.

If theres an x16 PCIe slot its going to work 100%? What about the bios ? I don't know much about computers I'm learning lol.

Anything radeon R9 series will not post, tried it, wont work. others say the same. My wifes got a 750 Ti in hers and it works fine. I just want something with more umff.

I am looking for a 4K graphics card for xps 8300. Is the GTX 750 Ti you mention working on a XPS 8300? It is a 4k card right?
