Hi guys. if i build a FX-6300+GTX 760 tandem today, would it still be reliable to run games? Like the new games today? How many years you guys think i can rely at that rig to suit my gaming needs?

Or does it make a difference if i choose i5-4590 + GTX 760? I have no idea. Maybe for future GPU upgrades?

I really dont know, im short of budget, i wanted i5-4590 + gtx 970 but its really too much for me..

Go with the i5 and get an R9 290. Significantly more powerful than the 760 for not an awful lot more money. You also get an extra 2GB of VRAM. You should be avoiding the 760. That's been the case ever since the R9 price drop several months ago. 760/960 are not a good buy.

Yeah, if only my budget could chase that video card and processor price, id definitely go for em.

Go with the i5. You can always buy a new graphics card when the need arises and you've got more cash on hand. Having to overhaul both your processor and motherboard because you want something more high-end is going to be expensive. Here you can see how dramatic the difference between the two processors is.

If i'd get the i5, my budget won't be enough to buy the graphics card. So i would still need a little bit more time to buy the graphics card. Do you think during that times, i could just use the iGPU of core i5? Just to play low profile temporarily?

An i5 paired with a GTX 750 (or 2GB 750Ti if you can swing it) will serve you much better in the interim. It'll give you great performance on somewhat older games like FarCry3, middling performance on newer games, but give you a good year or so to build up funds for a badass 4GB card like the GTX 970 or whatever AMD is planning on releasing next year!
