i Everyone,

I was hoping to get some help with a fairly new problem.

I ordered a custom PC back in November. I am gamer, but didn't have time to get everything together to build a new rig and wanted it done right. The folks that built it have been great.

Specs:

Core i7 4.0 GHz
Nvidia GTX780 Ti Video card
32 GB Corsair Vengeance quad channel ram
Asus deluxe socket MB
WD Black 2 TB 6GB p/s
512 GB Sata 6 SSD Crucial
Thermaltake 750 watt modular power supply
Fractal case
Samsung 28" Ultra HD LED Monitor

The Issue:

Since November, I have been running games at the highest settings without a problem, including Arma 3, Bioshock Infinite, etc. I have had absolutely no issue with this and the machine has been great.

About 2 weeks ago, when I was in games only not at desktop/in windows I would have, "glitches," come across my screen: large bars about 1/4 of the screen that would flash black, blue, or red repeatedly. As I continued to play, the glitches would become more frequent until the entire screen would go black, blue, or one solid color. I could not tab out of games and always had to restart.

I have performed several clean driver installs using driver wipe software. I had a period of about 3 days when the problems resolved, but now is back with a vengeance. Before it would take 5-10 minutes for the problem to develop, now happens in 30 seconds to a minute. Occasionally I can get games to play for 10-15 minutes, but the inevitable always occurs.

I am not a hardware expert. I have not overclocked anything as I wouldnt know how.

I am thinking this is a hardware issue, but before rma wanted to get everyone's thoughts.

I appreciate your time and help.

sounds like a failing/overheating card ?? if you can test the card in another computer and see if it does the same on it then you know its the card or not .. if the card works fine with out issues in another computer than you could look else ware in your system [opinion]

Thanks for your help. I dont have another system to try, unfortunately. Temperatures I have recorded during the glitch have been around 65-70 C for the video card, which I think is in an acceptable range.

I used one of the video driver uninstallation programs online that was recommended on a website. I did it in safe mode as well. I also tried the nvidia uninstallation tool itself with the "clean install," in safe mode, to no avail.

I think its best to follow the cards install /uninstall steps that's stated in there release notes that for the driver ?? I feel they would know whats the best and safe for there card and drivers ??

you went outside that and now no telling what went on there ??
