I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 8.1 and it can now now longer connect to my wifi router. I have a Surface Pro 3 and a Nexus 5 which can both connect to my router from the same location. My Surface can detect at least 5 of my neighbour's routers, but my computer can only seem to pick up one (not including my own).
It's a Zyxel router, and I'm using a USB wireless adaptor: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FV5S3X0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00
I've tried renaming my router (which worked for a couple of hours - turned my PC off and it suddenly stopped detecting it), switching everything on/off, reinstalling the driver for the wifi adapter and for my router. I'm totally stuck! Thanks for reading.
