yesterday i bought a ADATA UV128 32GB USB FLASH DRIVE, connecting on my GIGABYTE Z97 Gaming 3 USB 3.0 port, the write speed is only 9.5 Mbps. really too slow for a USB 3.0 flash drive and still my older Transcend JetFlash 370 16GB USB 2.0 is showing its write speed 12Mbps on the same port. I'v changed the Flash Drive and took a new one. showing the same problem

please inform me. where is the problem.
Thanks

Hi there tanvir_ahsan,

I guess that the issue you are facing is a driver related one. As you took another new drive and got the same speed, then I guess you will have to reinstall your USB 3.0 controllers. Just go to your MOBO's website and download them from there.
I guess it will not hurt to try the flash drive on another system. Also, you need to try connecting the drive to different ports(try the ones on the back of the case as well as some USB 2.0 ports).

Hope this will help,

I'm not sure the OPs results are out-of-line or driver-related... I've had many MANY USB3 thumb drives and they seem to run about 9-12MBps. If you are seeing 50MBps or something crazy like that, I'd be impressed, but bewildered. USB3 sticks are just slow... it's not like a USB3 SSD kind of transfer. Just my $.02

my drive is also slow and showing 9-10Mbps, after updating all the drivers and everything, there is no change. maybe USB 3.0 flash drives are slower. but my portable hard drive is faster on same pc same port. i think the problem is on the USB 3.0 drive. but sometimes id saw on youtube, someone is getting speed up to 30Mbps on a same flash drive, how its possible?
